Supporting Our Communities
Creating Meaningful Change
At Aspen Australia, giving back is part of who we are. We make it our mission to partner with purpose-led organisations across Australia and New Zealand, especially those that advocate for people experiencing hardship, mental health, environmental sustainability and health research. Our people lend their skills so these organisations can do more for those who need it most. Giving back is a core pillar of our sustainability strategy, and we'll continue to show up-locally and often-to help our communities thrive.
In the Community
Aspen Australia proudly supports local charities each year through our annual raffle and donation drives, giving back through volunteering, fundraising, and financial support. Some of our recent community projects have been R U OK Day, and celebrating Mandela Day with OzHarvest and Fair Food NZ.
OzHarvest and Fair Food NZ deliver practical support where it matters most: by rescuing quality surplus food and delivering it to charities so it feeds people, not landfill. Through food rescue, education and advocacy, our chosen partners fight food waste and strengthen food security.
Our Aspen Australia volunteers have been involved in the production of hundreds of meals delivered to local charities across Australia and New Zealand.
R U OK? is a national suicide prevention charity who encourage people across the country to have meaningful conversations and stay connected with those around them. Raising awareness for one of the leading causes of death amongst individuals aged between 15-29 globally, this charity's work is imperative in supporting and educating our younger generations.
In partnership with R U OK? we run an annual, week-long awareness campaign for this increasingly important issue. During Aspen's R U OK? week, we focus on checking in with one another through various wellness activities and competitions, whilst always keeping our main goal in mind: bringing our organisation together and advocating for mental health.
